Prolateral attends the Le Mead sent off party held at the Bedford Corn Exchange, Bedford.
Over the last few months Le Mead has held many charity events ranging from a Golf Tournament, Cake Sale, 24 hour Dart-A-thon, and a 50 mile cycle challenge around Bedfordshire.
In just a few days time Team Le Mead will be cycling from Venice to Milan via Switzerland and tackling the mighty Stelvio Pass. This is a 4 day event covering some 300 miles and reaching altitudes of 8000ft. The send off party included entertainment from a live band followed by a talent competition all raising money for the Geoff Thomas Foundation.

Background
Team “Le Mead” was named after a very courageous and dedicated Luton police office called Steven Mead who was diagnosed with adult lymphoblastic leukaemia in 2007. Since that time team “Le Mead” has organised events each year to raise money and awareness for the Leukaemia Research Fund in association with the Geoff Thomas Foundation.
